Lucknow: Have you ever had an unexpected guest at home? Most of us have experienced finding an uninvited guest in our home, such as an insect, butterfly or perhaps a small bird. But imagine if that stranger wasn’t just small or harmless. What if it had four legs? Scary as it may be, that’s exactly what happened to a resident of Lucknow recently.
No doubt, it will have both the attendees and the internet quite amazed. In a video that is now going viral, we can see a large monitor lizard that somehow managed to enter the second-floor apartment of a building in the capital of Uttar Pradesh.
In the video, we see a woman making a video of a lizard on a carpet near the door. The woman soon gets scared and runs away screaming. The exact date of the event is not clear, but it certainly caught the attention of many viewers.

The video was published on the social network X (formerly Twitter). “This video is from the Yash Heights Tower Apartment in Vibhuti Khand, Lucknow, where a lizard was found on the second floor. Its sighting created an uproar among locals,” the post explains

People who saw the video shared their thoughts in the comments. One person wrote: “Hey, it doesn’t do anything, it’s very quiet, nothing to worry about, I like it the most.” Another commented: “I understand the panic, but they’re not doing much. Better safe than sorry.”
In response to this incident, Lucknow Police also shared an update on social media. They mentioned that the forest department has been informed and steps have been taken to rectify the situation. Their message read: “Chinhat police station and forest department are present, necessary action is underway.”
