We checked the fare and found that the base fare from Guwahati to Shillong is 400 rupees. However, with a promo code, we got a 250-rupee discount, reducing the fare to 150 rupees. Note that a convenience fee will be added at the time of booking.

The short distance between Guwahati and Shillong makes flights on this route less expensive. Plus, low-cost airlines like Alliance Air help keep the fares low.

Other notable base fares include 400 rupees for Guwahati to Shillong and 525 rupees for Bengaluru to Salem. Slightly higher fares are 999 rupees for Guwahati to Pasighat and 954 rupees for Lilabari to Guwahati.

The UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Nagrik) scheme, launched by the Civil Aviation Ministry on October 21, 2016, aims to improve regional connectivity and make air travel affordable.
