PIB FACT-CHECK: The Government of India (GoI) has recently debunked an article claiming that the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) had issued new guidelines for SIM Cards that remain valid up to 90 days even without recharge. The Press Information Bureau (PIB) has done a Fact-check on the issue and claimed that the viral news making rounds on social media is FALSE.
