New Delhi: An interesting video has emerged from Sangrur district in Punjab. Here an entire house is being shifted by almost 500 feet. So far it has already been moved by 25 feet. This is happening as the house is located on the Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway Which will be built there.

Came on the approved path of Katra Expressway
The owner of the house Sukhwinder Singh Sukhi said that I am moving my two story house 500 feet away from its present location. I am shifting this house as it was coming in the way of Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway. According to news agency ANI, Sukhwinder Singh Sukhi, a farmer by profession, said that I was offered compensation but I do not want to build a house.
House amounts to Rs 1.5 crore
The farmer told that he had built this two-story house by spending about Rs 1.5 crore. So far his house has been removed from the space of about 250 feet of the expressway. Under the house, large iron gutters and pipes are being gradually removed. First, iron pillars were built under the foundation beams. Then gradually the number of iron pillars under the house was increased. When the house was standing with the help of pillars, it was then pushed back.
