New Delhi: VIP car number plate “P7” sold at an auction in Dubai. Conducted by Emirates Auction, for 55 million, which is approx. 122.6 crore and set the Guinness World Record for the most expansive licence plate in the world.
All the money from the auction will support the ‘1 Billion Meals Endowment’ campaign which aims at establishing the largest Ramadan sustainable food aid endowment fund.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president and prime minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai, founded the fund. On Saturday, the auction was hosted in partnership with Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives at the Four Seasons Resort Dubai, Jumeirah Beach.
