A Japanese man named Toco the Collie who became globally famous after spending $14,000 on his dog costume and transforming into a collie dog established TokoTokoZoo to help others experience their dream of living as an animal.
The TokoTokoZoo offers people the opportunity to fulfil their fantasies to transform into wild an animal. The service includes dog cosplay sessions which offer lifelike dog costumes.
It aims to make people’s “dreams come true.” and states “Have you ever wanted to be an animal? Have you ever imagined yourself as something other than yourself and felt excited? At present TokoTokoZoo provides its clients with a single costume option that resembles the Alaskan Malamute breed and looks similar to a Husky. Customers need to reserve their animal experience thirty days ahead of time while prices depend on their selected session length.

- – 120 minute session: 36,000 Yen ($234)
If customers wish to add a friend to their experience, the fee increases by 30,000 Yen. - For groups of three, the cost is 20,000 Yen per person ($129).
The package offers interesting deals, including an overview of the costume, and a discussion of what the customer wants to do as the animal. They will then get a chance to try the costume and have a custom fitting before the showtime. Participants can obtain a trial plan for 25,000 Yen but only if they match the stated body requirements.
The zoo continues to function only in Tokyo Japan but Toco provides service in multiple languages including English. The zoo plans to introduce pandas to their available costuming options but cat and fox costumes remain excluded because of their small dimensions making them inappropriate for human attire.
