Pakistani actress Mishi Khan recently took to social media to criticize TikTok star Minahil Malik, accusing her of leaking her own explicit video for attention and fame. This comes after Malik dismissed the viral video as fake and digitally altered. Without mentioning Malik by name, Khan posted an Instagram video and shared her disappointment over the scandal, expressing that it was disheartening to see influencers “stooping to the lowest level” just to make headlines.
Khan, in her message, said that Malik might have been influenced by Bollywood movie ‘Heroine’, in which Kareena Kapoor Khan releases her own video. Khan accused Malik of wanting publicity and said that she may have deliberately released the footage. “Shameful to see these influencers disgracing their families, parents, and society for fame. They should be barred from using social media,” Khan remarked in her caption, adding that the actions of such influencers that only harm society’s values.
In her video, Khan pointed to a line allegedly spoken by Malik in the viral clip, “If you go anywhere else, I will make it go viral,” raising questions about the video’s authenticity.” Skeptical of the deepfake claim, she argued “Why would someone pay to create a deepfake?” She condemned such content and called out of fame ladies to go back and think about their families and society, “Our society is already begging for ruin.” “Encourage things that are good and do things that are good.”
Despite the mounting criticism, Malik has turned to her fans for support, calling them to report the clip and support her during such a difficult time. The debate on the video has persisted on the social media as some people are coming out in support of Malik and others as critics which are actively voicing their opinions, making the controversy a trending topic online
