One such case has been reported from Blackburn, England. Alisha Khan, a 20 years old girl, had crooked teeth. To cure the problem, she visited a dentist. But the dentist removed two of his teeth on the pretext of wearing braces that caused her pain and damaged her teeth orientation. 

The pain increased so much that he lost another tooth. Eventually, Alisha filed a case against the dentist. The dentist has to pay a compensation of 22 thousand pounds, which is equal to 23 lakhs in Indian currency.

Alisha is from Manchester

According to the Mirror report, Alisha, who lives in Manchester, says that between 2015 and 2016, at the age of 15, she got her teeth treated by several dentists. In 2018, a dentist advised to remove the premolars. The first tooth was extracted on 19 November 2018 and the second tooth on 3 December 2018. He was put on braces.

One day Alisha was smiling when she saw a gap in her teeth. When she saw her in the mirror, She realised the truth. Alisha started crying. She slowly started going into depression. For four years She had to wear braces. 

Doctor put train tracks between teeth

Alisha said that when you want to look attractive in your 20s, you don’t want to have metal train rails between your teeth. Alisha was beginning to realize that her teeth would never get better. Still, She did not lose hope. Later, She contacted the orthodontist. Then he told that within 18 to 24 months the teeth would be fixed if treated properly. Braces were only put in for a year, but it took three years for her teeth to heal.

Alisha will buy a house with the compensation money

In 2023 he got the braces removed. Now she wears retainers. Alisha contacts an escort to teach a lesson to the wrongly treated dentist. He filed the case in 2021. Later settled with the dentist outside the court. The dentist paid a compensation of Rs 23 lakh and also accepted his mistake.

Alisha is very happy now. She is planning to pursue university studies and buy a house with the compensation money.
