The earthquake’s epicenter was near Durgabai Deshmukh College in Dhaula Kuan, South Delhi. The earthquake hit at 5:36 am, with a depth of five kilometers, the National Centre for Seismology said. A loud sound was heard when the tremors shook Delhi-NCR. Many people rushed out of their homes in panic after feeling the strong shake. Videos showing people standing outside their homes and fans shaking during the quake quickly went viral. Fortunately, there were no reports of damage or injuries.
