Although the name seems to be traveling without clothes, but the truth is absolutely opposite. Under this trend, people travel in many layers instead of carrying heavy goods or bags, so that they can avoid additional luggage charges. Reports of the Daily Mail show that this trend is being adopted mostly by Gen Z and Millennials.
Now, many passengers take the flight with only a phone and a wallet, keeping the rest of the important things in their pockets. They get big items through the postal service, as this method is cheaper than the luggage charge of the airline.
Escape’s report has revealed that measures like ‘Flying Naked’ increased when a survey conducted by Sand My Bag said 48% of the people said that the airlines deliberately make profits by making a policy.
It has become common in this trend to wear many layers of clothes. One in almost every three people is resorting to it.
Passengers have started adopting constructive measures to protect themselves from financial burden amidst increasing luggage fee. ‘Flying Naked Trend’ is the result of a similar juggle thinking, which is now taking the form of a widespread trend.
