The world’s ‘most haunted doll,’ named Elizabeth, has stirred up a storm of intrigue and fear as it reportedly harbors the vengeful spirit of a abandoned bride. This unsettling doll, currently housed at the Haunted Objects Museum in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, has gained notoriety for allegedly attacking 17 men, leaving them with physical injuries. Lee Steer, a 37-year-old paranormal investigator, acquired the doll for £866 (Rs 95,100) from eBay after learning of its violent reputation. The doll’s unsettling behavior has drawn significant attention, prompting investigations into its mysterious malevolence.
Haunted Doll Attack On Men
Elizabeth’s evil entity has been receiving attention due to various claims of violent encounters with men. According to Steer, the doll has caused physical harm to several male visitors, including himself. Off-duty police officer and ghost hunter, Steer, claims to have been burned on the neck and got scratches on his back in the shape of a pentagram while investigating in the museum’s bridal doll room. ‘It seems like the doll has a hatred towards men. There have been well over 15 people who have come to me to say they have been scratched.’. “It is all men and never a woman that it has attacked,’ Steer told The New York Post. His partner, Sarah Carter, has stayed away from the doll room because of the discomfort caused by its presence.
Elizabeth’s Paranormal Mischief Stirs Fear
Aside from the alleged physical attacks, Elizabeth reportedly also causes fire alarms, moves stuff around, and has even thrown a perfume bottle clear across the room. Steer said that, in one of the paranormal investigations, this doll caused an electronic interference where, on video, ‘bride’ and ‘haunting’ kept repeating. Another ghost hunter, Jon-Paul Kenny, shared a similar unsettling encounter when he felt like his shirt was grabbed and his skin touched during the live recording of a TikTok session, which he attributed to the haunted doll.
Elizabeth’s Enigmatic Past
Many have speculated that the doll is either jealous or has a troubled past. Steer herself believes that Elizabeth could be acting out of resentment, having had a bad experience with a man or having gone through a disastrous wedding. The theory has gained momentum, especially as the museum has recently acquired the infamous Annabelle doll from the film series The Conjuring, which is also reputed to haunt.
