New Delhi: Star chef Sanjeev Kapoor’s tweet is going viral on social media in which he shared a picture of a meal he was served onboard an Air India flight. People frequently complain about the meals they receive while travelling, particularly on trains and flights. Such issues, however, are brought to light when a celebrity brings them up.
Kapoor went after Air India, commenting, “Is this what Indians should eat for breakfast?”
“Wake Up @airindiain. Nagpur-Mumbai 0740 flight. Cold Chicken Tikka with watermelon, cucumber, tomato & sev Sandwich with a minuscule filling of chopped cabbage with mayo Sugar syrup Sponge painted with sweetened cream & yellow glaze.” “Really !!! Is this what Indians should eat for breakfast?”
In responding to Sanjeev Kapoor, Air India wrote, “We’re sorry for the disappointing experience you’ve had with us. We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused. However, we’ve taken note of your valuable feedback with concern. We’ll be sure to surface your comments with the right team as this will help us to improve.”
The Khana Khazana chef shared the post on Twitter on Monday, and it has received over 1.9 lakh views since then. Furthermore, the tweet has been liked by over 1,000 Twitter users and received 57 comments.
