Cemetery Film Screening For Ghosts: Discover The Incredible Reason Behind The 5-Day Event

A bizarre case has emerged in Thailand. They held a film screening for ghosts in a cemetery from June 2 to June 6. The claim is that this cemetery contains about three thousand graves, which belong to Chinese descendants who could not return to China from Thailand.

However, have you ever heard of a film screening arranged for ghosts? You probably haven’t, but Thailand recently hosted a remarkable outdoor film screening for ghosts that stunned everyone.

According to a reports, a cemetery in Thailand held a film screening for the deceased from June 2 to June 6. The Sawang Metta Thammasathan Foundation organized this eerie screening event.

Located in Nakhon Ratchasima Province in northeastern Thailand, the cemetery has about 3,000 graves. The cemetery officials set up empty chairs so that the spirits of the deceased could sit and enjoy the film. This event aimed to soothe the spirits and entertain them.

Food was also arranged for the ghosts in the cemetery-

According to reports, it is believed that the spirits attending this bizarre film screening were descendants of Chinese people who lived in Thailand and couldn’t return to China.

This screening reportedly started at 7 PM and ended at midnight. Besides the ‘ghost audience,’ four cemetery employees were also present at this open-air show, providing food, clothes, cars, model houses, and other daily necessities for the deceased.

Screening movies for the deceased is part of Chinese tradition- 

As per reports, among the Chinese communities in Thailand, screening films for the deceased is a traditional practice either after the Qingming Festival or before the Dragon Boat Festival.

The event organizer admitted that initially, they were afraid of showing a film in the cemetery, but over time, they described their experience as unique and positive.
