In a video, a man, who is suspected to be the owner of the restaurant, wearing a white t-shirt, could be heard saying that “nahin dunga order” when the delivery boy protested; the issue escalated, and they entered into a fistfight. Later, hotel staff joined the fight and assaulted the delivery boy.
There are more than 36k views on the video. The social media also divided into Hindi and Kannada fights in the comments section, as one said it was the Kannada guy’s fault, while the other said Hindi people were very rude. “Clearly visible who started, now playing Kannada card,” reads a caption.
While another said, “Hindi people are very rude; they must be sent back. I request the government of Karnataka to control Northies before Kannadigas break the law. The situation is leading to the enragement of Kannadigas and it is testing the tolerance of Kannadigas; we are over-tolerant, it is difficult to tolerate anymore.” However, the reason behind the fight is yet to be ascertained.
