Gurugram: A shocking case has emerged from Haryana’s Gurugram in which a man was arrested for dragging a motorcycle by his car for more than three kilometres. The bike was parked along the roadside. Police said the car was first hit by the bike which was parked roadside and when the bike stuck the speeding vehicle dragged it for kilometres on Wednesday night.
The owner of the bike was a bouncer named Monu. He said the incident took place around 11:30 pm when he was returning home from duty. The victim claimed he narrowly avoided being hit by the car because he was standing next to his motorcycle, which was parked by the side of the road.
Subhash Boken, spokesman of Gurugram police said, “We have arrested the accused identified as Sushant Mehta, a resident of Faridabad, and taken his car into custody. The accused is working with a private firm in Sector 63.”
Social media users shared a video of a Honda City sedan dragging a motorcycle in Sector 65 while several sparks were flying. The motorcycle’s owner called the police and reported the incident. The motorcycle came out from under the four-wheeler and landed on the roadside, and then the car driver fled, leaving his car behind.
