New Delhi: A 52-year-old TikToker in the United States caused laughter online after revealing that she swallowed one of her husband’s Apple AirPods Pro because she mistook them for vitamins, the New York Post reported.

The unfortunate but hilarious incident happened while real estate agent Tanna Barker was taking a morning walk with her friends. While immersed in the conversation, she went to take vitamins and accidentally swallowed her husband’s remaining AirPod Pro along with the drink, Insider reported.

When she returned home and told her husband the embarrassing incident, he asked her not to tell anyone. But she could not stop herself from sharing the hillarious incident with her followers on TikTok.

Her video quickly went viral on TikTok, with many users interested and fascinated by her story. One person said: “When you get it back, it will be an iPod.”

“I just imagine your friend casually watching you eat your AirPod,” another wrote. After swallowing the device, she sought advice from multiple doctors and friends who advised her to let the AirPods pass through her system naturally.

She found it difficult to swallow but did not pay much attention and continued to drink water to help the water escape from her body. She said she would do exactly what they suggested. She added that she didn’t know if anyone had ever done this. “It’s embarrassing, but I did it and we’ll see what happens,” she said in the now-viral TikTok video. She shared that she would follow the advice of experts and joked: “There’s a bonus; I still have access to my Airpod,” according to the Daily Mail.
