Recently, one such case has becoem a subject of discussion on social media platform Reddit. A man shared how he took off after 8 months and was treated as if he has done something illegal.
The Reddit user said he took off for 1.5 weeks after 8 months and still he was asked to take his laptop along to check e-mails on daily basis. Upset by the proposal, the man compromised and agreed to check his inbox once in 4-5 days with a heavy heart.
Despite the ‘generous offer’ from his side, the management gave him an anger look and recommended that he would be required to check emails on daily basis.
The man called out the ill-treatment that the employees get upon asking for their leave. He pointed out that the management completely dismiss the idea of leave even after the employee do not ask for vacation for a long time.
Comparing their era in today’s competition
One more thing that he highlighted that the management comparing their own struggles with the employees struggling at present. It is true that everyone has their own struggles but it feels absolutely wrong when the management invalidates employee’s struggle by mentioning that ‘your struggle is nothing but in our era, the competition was tougher. We used to struggle a lot.

The post got the honest responses where other users sharing and advicing the man for future course. In one of the comments shared to the post, a man suggested he should not take the laptop along unlesss it is important.
Meanwhile, another user told that he quit the job considering the torture he used to get at least 10 times a day. If that was not enough, one of the users told that he was burrying his father when his phone was constantly ringing, getting calls from his boss even though the latter knew where the man was.
