The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has launched a new facility to streamline travel for international passengers, allowing them to check in their luggage at metro stations. This facility, now available at New Delhi and Shivaji Stadium metro stations on the Airport Express Line, eliminates the hassle of carrying luggage to the airport.

Initially introduced in June for domestic passengers in collaboration with Delhi International Airport Limited, Air India, and Vistara, this service has received a positive response. Following its success, DMRC has extended the facility to international passengers traveling via Air India and Vistara.

During these hours, passengers can check in their luggage 12 to 2 hours before domestic flights and 4 to 3 hours before international flights.

At New Delhi Metro Station, the check-in counters are located in the concourse area, while at Shivaji Stadium Metro Station, they are situated at the VFS Global Office. This facility aims to provide a seamless travel experience, ensuring that passengers can avoid the inconvenience of handling luggage until they reach the airport.
