While some users appreciated the auto-rickshaw driver’s message of respect for all women, a few have criticized the medium of the message.

For instance, a user wrote, “I can’t believe I will be saying this but I don’t think this is radical feminism. Is it a joke?”

Another user argued, “Rickshaw wale bhaiya is far more civilized than most techbros in Bengaluru.” A user even commented that she had seen many autos with the same message.

Regarding the bold message, a user said, “Radical? It is not even feminism. Its just basic human decency.”

Others complained about the language, saying references to race and sexual history might enforce negative stereotypes.
