Kaimur: A video has surfaced on social media where two female police officers were seen beating an old man who is a school teacher by profession in from Bihar’s Kaimur.
The video showed that the two were beating the man using baton in broad daylight on a public road while he tried to defend himself. The passserbys witnessed the scenario but did not bother to intervene, fearing the police officers as assualters.
As per media reports, the police officers’ started the assault after a cycle of the victim fell in front of them.
Meanwhile, the Delhi Women for Commission (DCW) chief Swati Maliwal has taken cognisance of the video and urged Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav, to take action against the accused cops.
The DCW chief tweeted, “How these policemen are mercilessly beating an old man with a stick It is being told that Baba is a teacher in the school and his fault was that his bicycle fell in front of these madams. @YadavTejashwi , take action”

According to reports, the two women police personnel were suspended for three months after the visuals showing them beating a senior citizen went viral.
