In a striking revelation, the woman shared a screenshot showing her Uber expenses amounting to ₹16,600 for just 74 trips between July 1 and 25. She expressed her surprise at how her travel bills exceeded half of her monthly rent, praising a feature by CRED that helped her uncover these high costs.

Her post, which was shared on July 25, quickly went viral, amassing over 95,000 views and generating widespread commentary. Many users took to the comments to react to the staggering figures.

One commenter suggested, ‘Maybe it’s better to buy a vehicle; even monthly EMIs would be less.’ Another humorously added, ‘You deserve a loyalty card from Uber.’

Others shared their own experiences and advice. ‘I dread looking at this feature because I pay ₹700 for one ride. Thankfully, I don’t commute daily,” noted one user. Another suggested, “You could get a Baleno or an i10 on EMI for that same rate.’
