Bengaluru: In light of recent issues with Ola, Nisha Gowri, a resident of Bengaluru, has taken a prominent stand by placing a placard on her Ola Electric Scooter. In a post shared on X, Gowri shared a picture of her electric vehicle with a placard that reads, “Dear Kannadigas, Ola is a worthless two-wheeler.”
The placard serves as a cautionary note to the potential buyers, stating they will make their lives more difficult if they purchase it. The post shared on September 12 has garnered over 2,00,000 views, triggering an online debate over the quality and service offered by Ola Electric Scooters.

Gowri’s action comes amid a growing wave of frustration with Ola Electric Scooters, which encountered persistent breakdowns and technical glitches. According to Gowri, despite complete payment and a month’s wait to receive the scooter, she consistently experienced problems.
Recent Incident: Angry Customer Sets Fire To E-Scooters in Karnataka
A recent incident where an Ola Electric customer torched the service station in Kalaburagi, Karnataka, can be taken as a clear illustration of the problems faced by the customers. The customer had set seven e-scooters ablaze following the neglect of his complaints about the electric scooter he bought last month.
According to the police, the accused identified as Mohammad Nadeem (26) took petrol to the showroom, engaged in an argument with the showroom’s staff, and deliberately set the e-scooters on fire. However, no casualties were reported.
