Baba Vanga Predictions: People called her the Nostradamus of the 20th century because she was blind and seemed to be able to see into the future. However, how accurate were the forecasts of Baba Vanga, the Bulgarian prophetess?
There were undoubtedly many of believers throughout her lifetime. She was consulted by a wide range of individuals, including dignitaries around the world and common people. However, since many of the forecasts claimed to her are based on unreliable second-hand stories, it is challenging to accurately evaluate her abilities. Nevertheless, there are certain aspects of Baba Vanga mythology that have been extensively documented and continue to have a terrifying attractiveness.
For 2022, Baba Vanga made seven predictions. Two of her predictions have already materialized, but we hope that her vision of a terrible virus in Siberia triggering another pandemic doesn’t.
Drought and Wildfire in Europe
Baba Vanga forecast that severe droughts and shortages of water will affect major cities worldwide. The UK recently had the driest July since 1935, and on August 12, 2022, the government formally declared a drought. The drought in London may possibly last into the new year, according to some experts. Similar problems are occurring in other European nations, such as France, Italy, Portugal, and others, where terrible wildfires and record-breaking droughts are occurring.
Floods in Australia and Japan
Baba Vanga prophesied that massive floods would shake Asia and Australia. In July of 2022, Sydney saw its third flood due to eight months of rain falling in just four days. As Japan fights a powerful tropical storm, its official weather service has issued a warning about flooding in Tokyo and the surrounding regions.
Terrorist Attack of 9/11
Fortunately, some of Baba Vanga’s worst predictions—like the start of World War Three in 2010—have not materialized. But one of the most frequently mentioned predictions has to do with the September 11 terrorist attacks, which Nostradamus is said to have also prophesied. She reportedly said, “Horror, horror!” in 1989. “The steel birds will attack the American brethren, causing them to fall.” There will be innocent blood flowing and wolves howling in a dense forest. Genuine believers claim that the Twin Towers are the “American brethren” and the hijacked planes are the “steel birds.” Her usage of the word “bush” is particularly significant. This might be seen as a reference to then-President George W. Bush, who would lead the ‘wolf’ of American military power in the subsequent Fight on Terrorism.
Nuclear Submarine Disaster in Russia
The Russian nuclear submarine Kursk sank in the Barents Sea in August of 2000. All 118 crew members drowned in the tragic disaster which made headlines all over the world. But did Baba Vanga predict the disaster? She is said to have predicted in 1980 that Kursk would be “covered with water and the whole world will cry over it” in August 1999. Even though she was only a year away and was referring to the Russian city of Kursk, the similarities are unquestionably striking.
Barack Obama and Donal Trump
Baba Vanga reportedly predicted that a Black man would become the 44th US president, one of her many political prophecies. As it turned out, George W. Bush would be succeeded as the 44th leader of the free world by Barack Obama. Furthermore, she seems to have seen how the so-called “culture war” would develop and how Donald Trump would emerge as Obama’s successor at a period of cultural revolution. “Everyone will put their hopes in him [Trump?] to end it, but the opposite will happen,” said an undated statement. He will destroy the nation and intensify tensions between the northern and southern states.
Assassination of Indira Gandhi
One of the most important and controversial political figures of her era was Indira Gandhi, who led India as prime minister in the early 1980s. She gave the command to launch the military operation on Sikhism’s holiest monument, the Golden Temple, in 1984. In a possible act of revenge, two of her Sikh bodyguards shot and killed her in October of that year. Many years before that, in 1969, Baba Vanga saw Gandhi and declared, “The dress will destroy her.” In the smoke and flames, I spot an orange-yellow clothing. It is true that Indira Gandhi was dressed in a saffron saree on the fateful day when the bodyguards opened fire.
Own Death Date
Baba Vanga is said to have correctly prophesied the date of Soviet ruler Joseph Stalin’s demise. Although some observers have denied this, it appears that she was able to anticipate her own death date. In a 1990 interview, she allegedly mentioned August 11, 1996, as the day she would pass away. Yes, that was true. However, the exact details of what this fascinating and mysterious woman did or did not say are likely to be lost in a mist of folklore for all time, as is the case with every aspect of Baba Vanga myth.
Recently, a prophecy circulating everywhere that the Bulgarian mystic Baba Vanga predicted a significant “cash crush” in 2026 that would cause the price of gold rise dramatically. According to reports, the blind psychic predicted that a significant economic issue would force gold prices to shoot up the next year.
