New Delhi: A 20 year old student has earned Rs 664 crore in just 30 days. After earning more money than expected, the parents of the student have started worrying about some untoward incident. On the other hand, the student has said that although he had earned so much money, he has not made any future plans yet. At the moment, he wants to continue his studies.

The incident is from America

The entire incident is from America. Here Jake Freeman, a 20-year-old student, studying at a university in South California. According to media reports, he is a student of Mathematics and Economics.

Bought 5 million shares

Jake Freeman bought around 5 million shares of Bed Bath and Beyond in July for Rs 440. He invested around Rs 220 crore. A month later, the share price of Rs 440 rose to Rs 2160. After this Jake Freeman sold these shares, due to which he got Rs 897 crore i.e. he made a profit of Rs 664 crore in 30 days.

CFO of the company committed suicide

Gustavo Arnal, 52, CFO of the Bed Bath and Beyond company, committed suicide last week by jumping off the 18th floor of his Manhattan apartment. He was accused of insider trading which caused a loss of Rs 96 billion to the investors in the company. A case was registered against Gustavo Arnal in this regard.

Parents think their son can be kidnapped

Speaking to DailyMail.com, Freeman said that I have got so much money after which my parents think that I can be kidnapped. “I don’t think it’s risky,” he said. He claimed that his life hasn’t changed much since he cashed in on the multi-million dollar deal.

Freeman said that at the moment I am planning to do PhD right now, but I have no plan to invest the money I have earned. On a question asked about investing more than Rs 200 crore, he said that I had raised this amount by taking loans from my friends and family members and acquaintances.
