A startling video has surfaced from Uttar Pradesh’s Basti district, depicting a giant python making a swift meal of a Nilgai. The video captures the python effortlessly engulfing the Nilgai while a crowd of villagers watches in astonishment. Tragically, as a consequence, the Nilgai met a drastic end.

Reports indicate that a sensation of terror rippled through the village near the Shiva temple in Basti when news of a giant python’s appearance and the news spread like wildfire. Consequently, it prompted a large gathering of villagers at the spot of the scene. To their amazement, they witnessed the python with a visibly swollen stomach, having successfully swallowed the Nilgai.

Desperate attempts were made by the villagers to rescue the Nilgai. They struggled to free it from the python’s grip, but regrettably, their efforts were in vain. By the time the Nilgai was liberated from the python’s mouth, it had succumbed to its injuries.

The python in question was 18 feet in length and had ventured into the fields near the Bhadeshwarnath temple, located within the jurisdiction of the Kotwali police station. Its colossal size left onlookers astounded. The python had devoured the young Nilgai alive, causing its stomach to bloat.

Despite the villagers’ valiant efforts to remove Nilgai from the python’s stomach, the creature spat its prey lifeless. Distressed by the incident, the villagers promptly notified the forest department, leading to the swift arrival of their team. They captured the python and safely relocated it, bringing a sense of relief to the village.
