The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are facing significant challenges in IPL 2024, sitting at the bottom of the standings with just 2 points and a negative net run rate of -1.185.
Having suffered defeats in 6 out of 7 matches, the team led by Faf du Plessis is currently enduring a streak of 5 consecutive losses. To have any chance of progressing to the playoffs, they’ll need to produce a remarkable turnaround in their performance.
The United Spirits Limited currently holds ownership of RCB, succeeding Vijay Mallya who was the team owner from 2008 to 2016. Bhupathi, a winner of 12 Grand Slam titles in doubles and mixed doubles, emphasized the necessity of introducing a change in ownership.
