Lehsuni Bhindi Recipe: Ingredients

Okra – 500 grams
Onion – 2 (chopped)
Garlic cloves – 20 (finely chopped)
Cumin – half teaspoon
Dry red chili – 7
Curd – 2 spoons
Tomato – 2 (chopped)
Asafoetida – a pinch
Coriander powder – half teaspoon
salt – as per taste
Dry ginger powder – half teaspoon
Mustard oil – half cup

How to make Spicy Garlic Bhindi

  • To make spicy garlic bhindi, first of all you have to take bhindi and wash and clean them properly.
  • After this cut the bhindi into small pieces.
  • Then along with this, cut onion, tomato and dry red chillies in a bowl and keep them separately.
  • After this, take a pan and then put half a cup of oil in it and keep it for heating.
  • Then when the oil becomes hot, add half a teaspoon of cumin seeds and temper it.
  • After this, add chopped onion, chopped tomato and chopped okra and mix them well.
  • Then add chopped garlic buds, 2 spoons curd, half spoon dry ginger powder, a pinch of asafoetida, salt as per taste.
  • After this, let it cook on low flame for at least ten minutes.
  • After this turn off the gas and then you can serve it with roti or paratha.
