During the hospitality, the Ambani family presented Mr. Beckham with a specially crafted Mumbai Indians jersey, bearing the iconic ‘Beckham’ name. The picture captured the Ambani family alongside the football legend, who held the unique ‘1 Beckham’ jersey.
Earlier in the day, David Beckham had the opportunity to meet Rohit Sharma, the captain of the Indian cricket team, following their thrilling victory against New Zealand in the World Cup semi-final. As a UNICEF goodwill ambassador, Beckham, accompanied by cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, witnessed the exhilarating match in the stadium.

The football legend had also joined Akash Ambani at the Wankhede stadium to watch the match, where Bollywood actors Kiara Advani, Sidharth Malhotra, and Ranbir Kapoor were also in attendance.
In a jersey exchange, Rohit Sharma gifted his India jersey to David Beckham, who reciprocated with a Real Madrid jersey. Beckham, known for his stint with the Spanish football club Real Madrid from 2003 to 2007, shared this sporting gesture with the Indian cricket captain.
Adding to the warmth of his reception in Mumbai, Bollywood actors Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja hosted a welcome party for David Beckham at their residence. The event saw the attendance of various Bollywood stars, including Anil Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, and Karishma Kapoor, who shared delightful pictures with Mr. Beckham.
Expressing his excitement about his first visit to India, David Beckham spoke about his long-standing association with UNICEF, emphasizing their focus on the well-being of boys and girls, with a current emphasis on empowering girls.
