New Delhi: EV Sales In Delhi: Sales of electric vehicles increasing continuously in Delhi, full details from January to March.

According to media reports, an increase in the sale of electric vehicles has been registered in Delhi between January and March. In this news, we are telling you that since the beginning of the year 2023 in Delhi, how many electric vehicles have been sold in the first quarter.

According to the information, between January and March 2023, more than 18 thousand electric vehicles have been sold in Delhi. According to this, the total sale of electric vehicles in Delhi has become close to 15 percent. According to the state government, this figure is much higher than any other state in the country.

How many got sold?

A total of 59,520 vehicles were sold in Delhi in January 2023, out of which 5576 were electric vehicles. Whereas in the month of February, a total of 48728 vehicles were sold in Delhi, out of which 5268 were electric vehicles. In the month of March also, a total of 7926 electric vehicles were sold in Delhi, which was 14.8 percent of the total vehicle sales.

How many sales so far?

According to the information, about 1.12 lakh electric vehicles have been sold in Delhi since the year 2020. All these vehicles have been purchased as per the electric vehicle policy of the Delhi government.

When did the policy come?

Due to the increasing number of vehicles continuously in Delhi, pollution was also increasing. After which the Aam Aadmi Party government of Delhi implemented the policy for electric vehicles in the year 2020. Under which exemption is also being given by the state government on buying electric vehicles in Delhi. The Delhi government is also adding electric buses to the DTC fleet.
