Weather Updates: Delhi-NCR received heavy rains with thunderstorms and strong winds on Saturday morning. The weather has become pleasant due to the sudden change in the weather. Meteorologists have predicted rain in Delhi-NCR, Rajasthan, Haryana and Western UP. Intermittent light rain and strong winds have been predicted for the next two-three days as well. Weather Updates: Rain Possibility

According to the Meteorological Department, there has been light rain in Delhi, NCR, Loni Dehat, Hindon AF Station, Bahadurgarh, Ghaziabad, Indirapuram, Chhapraula on Saturday. Strong winds were blowing at a speed of 40-70 kmph. Noida, Greater Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad, Manesar, Ballabhgarh, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Narwana, Karnal, Rajound, Assandh, Safidon, Barwala, Panipat, Adampur, Hisar, Gohana, Gannaur, Siwani, Meham, Sonepat, Tosham, Rohtak , Kharkhoda, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Jhajjar, Loharu, Farukhnagar, Kosli, Mahendragarh, Sohana, Rewari, Palwal, Narnaul, Bawal, Nuh, Aurangabad, Hodal (Haryana) Gangoh, Deoband, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Kandhla, Khatauli, Barot, Daurala, Baghpat, Meerut, Khekra, Modinagar, Kithore, Garhmukteshwar, Pilakhua, Hapur, Gulouti, Siyana, Secunderabad, Bulandshahr, Jahangirabad, Khurja, Gabhana, Jattari (UP), Siddhmukh, Pilani, Bhiwadi, Jhunjhunu, Tijara, Khairthal, Kotputli, Alwar, and Biratnagar (Rajasthan) during next 2 hours.

No Heat Waves

The Meteorological Department predicted rain in Delhi for the next two to three days and said that there is no possibility of heatwave till May 30. The IMD on Friday said rainfall across India will be ‘below normal’ in the month of June, leading to above normal temperatures in states like Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Odisha and northern India.

Monsoon Arrival

RK Jenamani said, the rainfall across India in June will be less than 92 per cent, which is below normal. States like Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Odisha and North India are likely to have low temperatures. The IMD had earlier said that the monsoon would hit Kerala on June 4. This year the rains will be normal.
