Anantapur: Six women agriculture labourers were electrocuted to death in Andhra Pradesh‘s Anantapur district on Wednesday.
The incident occurred when a high tension wire fell on the agriculture workers who were harvesting in the field in Dargah Honnur village in Bommanahal mandal, media reports said.
It is being told that three other laborers were also injured in the accident.

Police reached the spot after receiving the information. Some other workers were also injured in the accident.
The electricity department has stopped the power supply of the area. It was not immediately known how the incident happened.
Earlier, on June 30, an auto carrying 12 laborers got electrocuted in Chilkondaiyapalli village. In which six agricultural women laborers were killed and three others were seriously injured.
