Sidhu release from Jail: Star Cricketer and Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu on Saturday will be released from the Patiala’s Central Jail after 10 months.
Many Congress leaders and supporters are gathered outside the Central Jail to welcome 59-year-old Sidhu upon his release. People have made many arrangements as Dhol Tasha, slogans, flowers and etc to accord the grand welcome to congress leader Sidhu.

Sidhu’s son reaction
Sidhu’s son Karan Sidhu told reporters at his residence on Saturday that the family had been eagerly for the release of Sidhu from the jail.

Road rage case:
Former Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu will be released from Patiala Court on Saturday. Sidhu was sentenced to one year rigorous imprisonment by the Supreme Court in the road rage case. He was sent to jail on 20 May 2022.
There are two reasons for Sidhu’s premature release. The first reason is that Sidhu has not taken any leave till now. He was entitled to four leaves in a month as per the jail manual. Secondly, their good conduct has also been taken care of.

Sidhu’s sentence was to end on May 19. If legal experts are to be believed, 4 to 5 days’ relaxation is given in a month depending on the progress of the assigned work and the conduct of the prisoners.
