New Delhi: President Droupadi Murmu and prominent leaders from across the country including Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj S Chouhan, Union ministers Bhupendra Yadav, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and MP Rahul Gandhi extended greetings to all the states and Union territories which share their foundation day on November 1.
On Tuesday, seven states, including the union territories of Chandigarh, Lakshadweep, and Puducherry, as well as the states of Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, and Andhra Pradesh, celebrate their anniversaries.
“Greetings to the people of Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Lakshadweep and Puducherry on their formation day. My best wishes for the progress and prosperity of the residents of these States and Union Territories,” President Droupadi Murmu tweeted.

MP CM Chouhan congratulated everyone on the state’s rapid progress. “We are working towards making MP self-reliant. MP is setting a new parameter in every field,” he was quoted as saying by news agency ANI.
Union minister Bhupendra Yadav also took to Twitter to extend greetings on the occasion.

Extending his warm wishes, Rahul Gandhi, in a tweet, said: Each state & UT of India has a rich history, and a beautiful culture, which we must cherish and nurture.
