New Parliament inauguration ceremony

New Delhi: In the second session of the inauguration ceremony of the new Parliament House, PM Modi released a coin of 75 rupees. During this, PM Modi said in his address that during his visit to the country, such moments come, which become immortal forever. Today is such an opportunity. PM Modi said that the new Parliament is not just a building; it is a symbol of the aspirations of 140 crore people in India. It gives the message of India’s determination to the world.

Prime Minister Modi said that this new Parliament will witness the rise of a self-reliant India. When India moves forward, the world moves forward. This new parliament will also take the world forward with the development of India. PM Modi also said that it is our good fortune that we have been able to restore the glory of the holy ‘Sengol’. Whenever the proceedings begin in this House, ‘Sengol’ will inspire us.

PM Modi said that seeing the new Parliament House today makes every Indian full of pride. It also has architecture, heritage, art, skill, culture, and a constitution. The inner part of the Lok Sabha is based on the national bird peacock, and the inner part of the Rajya Sabha is based on the national flower lotus. The national tree, the Banyan is also on the premises of the Parliament.

PM Modi said that, along with India, the new Parliament House will also contribute to the progress of the world. India is the mother of democracy. It is also the foundation of global democracy. Democracy is our ‘Sanskara’, thought, and tradition.

From Panchayat Bhawan to Parliament House, our country’s and its people’s development inspire us. Today, when we are proud of the construction of this new Parliament, it gives me great satisfaction to think about the structure of 4 crore houses for the poor and 11 crore toilets in the country in the last 9 years. When we talk of modern facilities in the new Parliament, it gives me satisfaction that we have built more than 4 lakh kilometres of roads to connect the country’s villages.

PM Modi said that the Parliament House had done the work of providing employment to about 60,000 workers. A digital gallery dedicated to their labour has also been created. Today, when we are celebrating seeing the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, I am satisfied that we have also built more than 30,000 new panchayat buildings in the country. From Panchayat Bhawan to Parliament House, our loyalty is the same.
