Uttarakhand: Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the first Vande Bharat Express train of Uttarakhand from Dehradun to Delhi through video conferencing today. Earlier, PM Modi had also flagged off the first Vande Bharat Express from Odisha.
Complete preparations were made at the Dehradun railway station regarding the programme. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav inspected the Delhi-Dehradun Vande Bharat Express along with CM Pushkar Singh Dhami.

The Delhi-Dehradun Vande Bharat Express was trialled two days ago. During this, the loco pilot, manager, and assistant of the train left with the train. This train reached Anand Vihar railway station via Saharanpur.
On May 18, PM Modi flagged off Odisha’s first Vande Bharat Express. This train will cover the distance of 500 km between Puri-Howrah and Lord Jagannath’s Dham Puri in about six and a half hours. It has been told that the regular operation of the 22895 and 22896 Howrah-Puri-Howrah Vande Bharat Express will start on May 20.
