Addressing the media after the meeting, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav termed the Ordinance as anti-democratic and assured Kejriwal to support of his party in his fight against the centre.
“You are doing good work in the field of education, health and BJP is not liking it, they are the only party who are trying to destroy good works, I assured you that the Samajwadi party is with you and will support you,” Said Akhilesh Yadav.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal reiterated that if non-BJP party would come together then the ordinance could be defeated in Rajya Sabha.
“If non-BJP parties come together then this ordinance can be defeated in Rajya Sabha and it will send a strong message that the Modi govt is not coming to power in 2024. I thank SP chief Akhilesh Yadav who has assured us that his party will support us in Rajya Sabha,” said Delhi CM.
Kejriwal is on a nationwide tour to meet opposition leaders to assure support for the Aam Aadmi Party’s fight against centre government ordinance.
Earlier last month, the Centre brought an ordinance to nullify the Supreme Court verdict, which allowed the elected government in the national capital to control matters related to services.
So far, Kejriwal had met Biahr CM Nitish Kumar, Former Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackrey, Nationalist Congress Party Chief Sharad Pawar, Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin, and Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren.
