Mercedes Benz C 300 Features And Specs
The new C 300 petrol variant continues where the C 300d left off, available in AMG Line specification. It features a sportier exterior and interior design compared to lower variants and includes additional technology. The C 300 is also available in a unique Patagonia Red paint from Mercedes’ Manufaktur series, while all 2024 C-class variants can be ordered in a new Sodalite Blue color.
The C 300 petrol is equipped with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system, generating 255 bhp and 400 Nm of torque. The mild-hybrid system provides an extra boost of up to 23 bhp and 205 Nm in specific driving conditions. The engine also has an overboost function that increases power by 27 bhp for 30 seconds. Power is delivered to the front wheels through a 9-speed automatic gearbox, enabling a 0-100 kmph acceleration in just 6 seconds.
For technology, Mercedes has enhanced the entire C-class range with new features. The lower-spec C 200 petrol and C 220d diesel now include heated and ventilated front seats, 360-degree cameras, six USB type-C fast charging ports, adaptive high beam assist, and a digital key with sharing capability via the Mercedes ME App. The C 300 adds even more with a Burmester 3D sound system, Mercedes’ Digital Lights headlamp technology, an augmented reality display for navigation, a keyless go package allowing door access with the key in your pocket, remote boot operation, and blind spot assist.
The GLC SUV updates are less extensive, with the SUV gaining a few additional features such as standard heated and ventilated front seats and additional airbags. The GLC now has nine airbags, including new side airbags for rear outer seat passengers.
