Real Madrid was excellent in the first half achieving a 3-0 lead. However, the second half was shaky for the home side. The two late goals in the end, almost brought Alaves back into the game. Ancelotti’s men nearly collapsed at the end of the match.

First Half Recap
Lucas Vazquez in the 55th sec of the game pulled an amazing one-touch goal into the bottom corner from a cutback pass by Vini Jr. From a quick interchange with Jude Bellingham, the star signing of the summer added another goal, a few minutes before halftime.
Second Half Drama
Rodrigo scored the third one sliding through the keeper’s leg, making it look very easy to cut through the backline of Alaves. Eventually, Alaves grew into the game and started to create danger in Madrid’s final third. Alaves, although had control of the game was not able to deliver the changes they created. The substitute Endrick hitting the woodwork from a deflection almost scored the 4th goal in the 72nd minute of the game.
In response, Alaves scored in the 85th minute of the game with a curling ball from outside the box. The goal was considered just a consolation, until the visiting side hit the second in the 86th minute. The game turned upside down. Los Blancos at their own home were on the verge of collapsing. However, they made it out of the chaotic ending taking all 3 points.
