IPL 2023 Final GT vs CSK: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) has won the IPL 2023 title. In the match played on Reserve Day on Monday against Gujarat Titans, CSK became the IPL champion for the fifth time after winning by 5 wickets. CSK needed 10 runs to win in the last two balls, millions of spectators were holding their breath, but Ravindra Jadeja, batting brilliantly, gave the team a six on the fifth and a four on the sixth, giving such a spectacular victory that the nerves of cricket fans were thrilled. Got fed up. After this victory of CSK, Dhoni sitting in the dugout was jubilant. He hugged Ravindra Jadeja who came running. Dhoni has now equaled Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma in terms of winning the most IPL trophies.

Earlier, once again rain interrupted the match. The rain came after just 3 balls of CSK’s batting. However, the rain stopped and the match started at 12.10 pm. The match was reduced to 15 overs, while the target was kept at 171 runs.

Sai Sudarshan from Gujarat Titans came out to bat first and created a storm against Chennai Super Kings. Sai batting fast hit 96 runs in 47 balls hitting 8 fours-6 sixes. Sai’s blistering batting helped Titans post a mammoth score of 214 in the final match. Wriddhiman Saha’s 54, Shubman Gill’s 39 and Hardik Pandya’s unbeaten 21 included in this.

Earlier, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) won the toss against Gujarat Titans (GT) and decided to bowl first. CSK captain MS Dhoni said after the toss, “We will bowl first with the forecast of rain. The pitch has been covered for a long time, but it has performed well throughout the tournament. We are very happy that we will play 20 overs. We will go with the squad from the last match.”

Dhoni further said, “Yesterday we were in the dressing room. Where was talking that as a cricketer you always want to play. The biggest problem was the crowd. Hopefully we will be able to entertain them.”

 

At the same time, Gujarat Titans captain Hardik Pandya said- “I would have also decided to bowl first, but my heart wanted to bat, so I do not mind losing the toss. We said it was beyond our control. Whichever team plays better will get the trophy. I like to keep the boys calm and they return it to me. It is a flat track.”
