New Delhi: Congress spokesperson and in charge of Karnataka Randeep Surjewala on Tuesday said that the decision process on CM face is underway.
Surjewala said that Congress would announce a new cabinet in Karnataka in the next 48-72 hours.

“Delibrations are currently underway by party president Mallikarjun Kharge. Whenever Congress makes a decision we will inform you. In the next 48-72 hours, we will have a new cabinet in Karnataka,” said Surjewala.
Siddaramaiah will be next CM-Sources
According to sources, Congress’s high command decided that former chief minister Siddaramaiah will be the next chief minister of the state and will take oath on Thursday.
As per sources, senior Congress leader DK Shivakumar will be offered the post of Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka. Sources said he is expected to get important portfolios in the state cabinet.
As per information, Siddaramaiah will take oath as Chief Minister at Kanteerava Stadium around 3:30 pm on Thursday. It is being said that he will take oath alone. Other ministers will be sworn in after a discussion on the cabinet.
Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar met Rahul Gandhi today. Siddaramaiah had reached Delhi since Monday while DK Shivakumar had reached Delhi on Tuesday. Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar had separate meetings with Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge in Delhi on Monday and Tuesday.
