As electric vehicles continue to gain traction, hybrid cars are also making their mark in India, and now hybrid bikes are set to follow suit. Kawasaki, a leading two-wheeler manufacturer, is preparing to launch its latest model, the Ninja 7 Hybrid, in India. This advanced bike will feature both electric and petrol engines, promising reduced operating costs and lower emissions.
The Kawasaki Ninja 7 Hybrid will be powered by a robust 451 cc engine. This sports bike will come with a reverse gear feature, making maneuvering in tight spots easier. It will deliver 69 HP of power and 60.4 Nm of torque for high-speed performance. While the company has not yet revealed the top speed, it is anticipated that the bike could reach speeds between 144.1 km/h and 400 km/h. The Ninja 7 will also include a 4.3-inch digital display and a 6-speed gearbox, aimed at achieving a fuel efficiency of 30 to 40 kmpl.
Design and Features
The Ninja 7 boasts a sleek design with dimensions of 2145 mm in length, 750 mm in width, and 1135 mm in height. It will feature a 4-stroke engine, disc brakes, and an anti-lock braking system for enhanced safety. Available in three colors—Metallic Bright Silver, Metallic Matte Lime Green, and Ebony—the Ninja 7 is set to compete with the Triumph Bonneville T100. Although the exact launch date and price have yet to be confirmed, the bike is expected to be available in India by March 2025, with an estimated ex-showroom price of ₹10.34 lakh.

The Kawasaki Ninja 7 Hybrid is a high-performance sports bike featuring a 451 cc engine that generates 69 HP of power at 10,500 rpm and 60.4 Nm of torque at 2,800 rpm. It is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox and runs on a 4-stroke engine with two cylinders. The bike offers a seat height of 795 mm and a ground clearance of 130 mm, providing a comfortable ride. It has a curb weight of 227 kg and a fuel tank capacity of 14 liters, combining power and practicality for an exceptional riding experience.

Comparison with Triumph Bonneville T100
The Triumph Bonneville T100, priced at ₹12.44 lakh on-road, features a 900 cc engine that produces 64.1 bhp and 80 Nm of torque. It includes disc brakes and weighs 228 kg, with a substantial 14.5-liter fuel tank designed for long journeys.
Available in two variants and five color options, the Bonneville T100 is equipped with heavy suspension and a comfortable single-piece seat. It also features wire-spoke wheels and comes in both simple handlebar and dual-color options.
