Preparations are underway to run a Vande Bharat train between Patna, the capital of Bihar, and Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. This will not only provide better connectivity for travelers from Bihar to Uttar Pradesh but also facilitate travel to Ayodhya along with Lucknow. This Vande Bharat train from Patna to Lucknow will stop at Ara, Buxar, Deendayal Upadhyaya Junction, Jaunpur, Ambedkar Nagar, and Ayodhya before reaching Lucknow. According to reports, passengers traveling via Vande Bharat will complete the journey from Patna to Ayodhya in eight hours.

The proposed Vande Bharat train will provide travelers from Bihar to Uttar Pradesh with the benefit of a comfortable journey in less time. Through this Vande Bharat train, passengers from Patna and Ara will be able to travel to Ayodhya and Lucknow. Possible Timings for the Journey
According to reports, the Railway Board is currently engaged in preparing the timetable for the Patna-Lucknow Vande Bharat train. It is speculated that the train will depart from Lucknow in the morning and arrive in Patna by afternoon. Subsequently, it will depart from Patna in the afternoon and return to Lucknow in the evening. However, the final schedule will be issued by the Railway Board. It is worth noting that the distance between Patna and Lucknow is approximately 530 kilometers. Express trains usually take around 10 hours to cover the distance between the two cities. Most trains reach Lucknow via Varanasi after passing through Deendayal Upadhyaya Junction. With the introduction of the Vande Bharat train via Ayodhya, travelers from Patna to Lucknow will have a new option available to them.
