Dusshera 2024 OTT And Theatrical Releases: Every festive season brings big releases in Indian cinema, which gives the audience plenty of time to watch this content. This year on Dussehra, several big-budgeted movies were released on both theatres and OTT platforms. As Dusshera 2024 has also given an extended weekend to the audience, take a look at the list of OTT and theatrical releases that viewers can watch. 

Stree 2

The biggest Hindi blockbuster of 2024, ‘Stree 2’, has finally arrived on OTT. The movie revolves around a group of friends trying to save their village from a monster called Sarkata. Starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in the lead roles, the movie is streaming on Prime Video. ‘Stree 2’ also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Ayushmann Khurrana. Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan and Tamannaah Bhatia were seen in cameo roles.

Jigra 

Alia Bhatt-starrer ‘Jigra’ hit the theatres on October 11 and the audiences can watch the movie in this extended weekend. The movie revolves around an elder sister on a mission to rescue her brother from jail as he gets sentenced to death. Apart from Alia, the movie also stars Vedang Raina in the lead role and is directed by Vasan Bala. 

Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video 

Another big movie released in theatres on October 11 is ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’. Starring Triptii Dimri and Rajkummar Rao in the lead roles, the movie revolves around a newly married couple, whose intimate video on VHS tape gets lost.

Vettaiyan 

Tamil movie ‘Vettaiyan’, starring Superstar Rajinikanth, arrived on the big screens on October 10. The movie revolves around a retired officer, who has different ways of fighting against the system and clashes with a judge due to his ideologies. Meanwhile, it also marks the Tamil cinema debut of legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan. Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan and Abhirami are in pivotal roles.

Sarfira 

‘Sarfira’ revolves around a common man, who dreams of starting his own airline. The movie stars Akshay Kumar, Radhika Madan and Paresh Rawal in the lead roles. It has finally been released on Disney+ Hotstar.

Martin
