According to Channi Singh, ‘The owner of the dhaba’, the video was made for fun. Here, sanitation is maintained and only edible oil is used for cooking. ‘Diesel Paratha’ is not anything we cook . A dhaba in Chandigarh was featured in a recently viral video that discussed the process of making a Diesel Paratha. The dhaba owner has stepped forward and clarified that the viral video is not accurate.

The owner claims that the widely shared video regarding diesel parathas is untrue. He mentioned that the vlogger who made the paratha video had jokingly referred to it as ‘Diesel Paratha’.The video, which gained popularity on social media, led to discussions about food safety and prompted calls for the dhaba to be investigated by the police. The YouTuber who created the video deleted it and expressed regret. Amanpreet Singh, who shared the video, also apologised on Instagram.
