New Delhi: Delhi’s former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia’s bail application in the Delhi liquor policy case has been rejected by a Delhi court on Friday.

In his bail Petition former deputy CM stated that no fruitful would be served to keep him in custody as the agencies have already made all the recoveries.

Manish Sisodia has also stated that he would join the investigation whenever CBI asks him. But, the court rejected his bail plea.

CBI opposed the bail saying, ” If he is granted bail this will affect and compromise our investigation as the influence and interference are writs large”.

CBI arrested Manish on 26 February in connection with alleged irregularities in the formulation of Delhi’s new liquor excise policy.
