New Delhi: Shankaracharya Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati has passed away on Sunday at Jhoteshwar Paramhansi Ganga Ashram in Narsinghpur, Madhya Pradesh. He took his last breath at 3.30 PM.
Swami was 99 years old who celebrated his 99th birthday on September 3. He was ill ill for a long time.

He was Shankaracharya of Sharda Peeth of Dwarka and Jyotrimath Badrinath.
