The assassination of NCP leader Baba Siddiqui has sent shockwaves through the country. As the authorities continue the inquiry, fresh details have emerged revealing that the shooters were in touch with Anmol Bishnoi brother of Lawrence Bishnoi.
Mumbai Crime Branch reported that the three suspected shooters had communicated through the instant messaging application Snapchat, prior to the crime. Anmol, who is believed to be in contact with the accused from Canada and America, reportedly coordinated instructions through this application. The investigation also captured four mobile phones from the suspects, which could become crucial evidence in the investigation.
Arrests Made In The Case
The Crime Branch has so far arrested 10 accused in the case, including two shooters and a weapon supplier. Those accused in the Baba Siddiqui murder case include shooter Shivkumar Gautam and several others named by the police.

Snapchat: A Communication Medium
One of the most critical things in this case involve the use of Snapchat in communication between the accused shooters. The shooters used Snapchat to type messages and send updates that they would delete after reading so that they were not traced. Such communication makes it hard to have a clue about what happened since most of the messages would have been deleted.
Upon further examination of the Snapchat accounts belonging to the arrested suspects, investigators found direct communication between the shooters and Praveen Lonkar, another individual implicated in the case. This evidence suggests a well-coordinated plan, possibly indicating a higher degree of organization within this criminal group.
