Xiaomi Unveils 14 Ultra in India: Explore Top Specs, Pricing, And Full Details

Xiaomi pleasantly surprised its Indian consumers by introducing the Xiaomi 14 Ultra to the market. Initially, the company had indicated that the device wouldn’t be available in India, making its launch on Thursday all the more exciting for tech enthusiasts and fans. Previously exclusive to China, the phone wasn’t anticipated to expand into global markets. Furthermore, it garnered attention when it was displayed at the recent Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain.

Xiaomi’s Chief Marketing Officer in India, Anuj Sharma, highlighted the groundbreaking partnership between Xiaomi and Leica, emphasizing its transformative impact on smartphone imaging.He underscored that the Xiaomi 14 Series embodies the culmination of this partnership, showcasing distinctive features like Leica Summilux optics and a 75mm floating telephoto lens. Sharma stressed that this integration demonstrates cutting-edge optical concepts and product designs, reinforcing Xiaomi’s status as a frontrunner in mobile imaging innovation.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is equipped with a 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED micro-curved display, boasting a resolution of 3,200 x 1,440 pixels. To enhance durability, the curved display is safeguarded by Shield Glass.Offering a seamless user experience, the phone boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness level of 3,000 nits.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is equipped with an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, providing up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. This configuration ensures swift responsiveness and offers ample storage space for users. Operating on the latest Android 14-based HyperOS, the phone delivers a modern and feature-rich user experience

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra features a quad rear camera setup, arranged within a circular module. It comprises a 1-inch 50-megapixel Sony LYT900 primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). Additionally, two 50-megapixel Sony IMX858 sensors offer optical zoom capabilities of 3.2x and 5x respectively. Furthermore, a fourth 50-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens is included. For selfies, the device is equipped with a 32-megapixel front sensor.

Battery and other specifications:

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is fueled by a substantial 5,300mAh battery, supporting 90W wired charging, 80W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging. Additionally, the device features an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor for enhanced security and an IP68 rating, ensuring dust and splash resistance for added durability.

Priced at Rs 99,999 for the 16GB RAM + 512GB storage variant, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be available for reservations starting March 11, requiring an initial payment of Rs 9,999. Customers who opt for the reservation offer by paying Rs. 9,999 will receive the phone on April 8, ahead of its official sale date. The device is slated to hit the Indian market for sale on April 12, starting from 12 pm IST, accessible through mi.com and Mi Home stores.
