New Delhi: WhatsApp which is one of the most popular instant messaging platforms of all time is used by billions of people all over the world. WhatsApp users recently were on the beta version of the app on Android faced issues where WhatsApp was showing an error message stating that the version they were using was not updated.

This led to trouble for those affected since they were not being able to use WhatsApp since a few time. Some tried fixing the problem by changing their system date to a past day but this ended up making no difference. It looks like the application developers immediately noticed the problem and introduced a different version of WhatsApp beta for Android (v2.23.7.14) to fix this issue.

In case you too are experiencing an ‘out of date’ error message on WhatsApp, make sure to update the app to the latest version as it would end up fixing the problem. Alternatively, users can also opt out of the beta and switch to the normal version of the app if the updated version fails to work for them. However, you might not get the same features, as for some new features which might only be available to those on the beta version of the app.
