WhatsApp users faces disruption, with users reporting issue in accessing the web version of the messaging platform. This affected both personal and professional work. WhatsApp users were not able to send or receive the messages via the web version of the application.
Meta which is the parent company of WhatsApp have not released any official statement.
As per Downdetector, the online platform which track performance of websites, around 57% of WhatsApp user have reported the issue. These users faces the issue on the web version. On the other end, 35% of users faced issues while using the application of WhatsApp.
Many users posted about the issue on their X handle. The post shows the inconvenience they faced dur the problem with WhatsApp web and application version.
